I’m not sure why the Republicans were doing this to Democratic females speakers in particular—literally the entire time the Democratic women’s caucus was up to speak there were constant objections for no other reason than obstruction. My guess is focus grouping showed that those videos of Democratic women speaking up for health care would be more damaging than Democratic men speaking. Or I could just go Okham’s razor and pin it on Republican misogyny. Or both.
